Two Brands Honored with Folio: Finalist Recognition
Scranton Gillette Communications/SGC Horizon brands were honored as finalists for Folio:’s 2018 Eddie and Ozzie Awards. For more than 20 years, the Eddie & Ozzie Awards have recognized excellence in magazine editorial and design across all sectors of the industry. The annual competition draws over 2,000 entries and the finalists are judged by a 300-member panel for editorial (Eddie Awards) and design (Ozzie Awards) excellence.
Professional Builder is a finalist for three Eddie Awards and two Ozzie Awards this year. The three Eddie Award Finalist honors include the Full Issue B2B General category for its January 2018 issue; the Column/Blog B2B Building & Construction category for “Grand Theft Home Building/Welcome to Your VPO Nightmare”; and the Profile or Q&A B2B category for “Active Culture.” The two Ozzie Award Finalist honors include the Feature Design B2B Above 100,000 Circulation category; and the Overall Design (Single Magazine issue) B2B category for its February 2018 issue.
Furniture, Lighting & Decor is a finalist for two Eddie Awards in the B2B Website category, and in the Series of Articles B2B Shelter/Home/Garden category for its Made in America series: “Made in Post-Globalized America" and "O Say Can You See”.
Folio:’s Eddie and Ozzie Awards competition is the most inclusive awards program of its kind in the industry, honoring all categories of magazines — consumer, B2B, custom and association — including their print, digital, website, enewsletter and video products. The 2018 winners will be announced on October 9 during the awards gala in New York City.
