Arlington Heights, IL (August 14, 2013) — Robert Ivy, CEO of the American Institute of Architects, will deliver his keynote speech, “Current Directions, Future Trends in the AEC Industry,” on Tuesday, September 10, at the BUILDINGChicago/Greening the Heartland Conference.
Ivy’s keynote speech will include an update on the progress with the AIA 2030 Commitment program along with a review of AIA’s new BIM and digital documents program, including program management documents. A free guide to AIA contract documents for small projects will be available to seminar attendees. Ivy served as Vice President/Editorial Director of McGraw-Hill Construction and as Editor-in-Chief of Architectural Record. He received the 2009 G.D. Crain Award from American Business Media for lifetime contributions to editorial excellence in business media.
Ivy is one of three keynote speakers at the BUILDINGChicago/Greening the Heartland Expo and Conference, to be held September 9-11, at the Holiday Inn Chicago Mart Plaza. The conference offers more than 65 accredited sessions.
